Participants create small hand-built clay sculptures \u2013 Marching Women \u2013 symbolising strength, resilience, and collective movement forward.<\/p>\n<p>This project builds on the success of the original Rise Up (\u00a0<span data-path-to-node=\"0,2,1,0\">Join Rise Up 2026 to create art for social change. Build clay sculptures supporting domestic violence survivors through community action.<\/span>2016\u201317), which saw 135 people participate and raised over $6,500 for domestic violence support.<\/p>\n<p>No experience is necessary. Participants attend either two 90-minute sessions or one extended workshop to create two sculptures \u2013 one to keep, and one donated to the upcoming Rise Up Exhibition, with proceeds supporting domestic violence agencies and projects assisting victim-survivors.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2026\/04\/groupmwwhite_22752.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"879\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Participants will contribute to a large-scale installation.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>More than a workshop, Rise Up is about:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Raising awareness.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Building community connection.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Creating meaningful change through art.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will also contribute to a large-scale installation, visually representing unity and collective strength.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2026\/04\/groupofMW_22801.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"595\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Marching Women symbolise strength, resilience, and collective movement.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first scheduled workshops run across April and May in Bacchus Marsh.
