With such an atmospheric backdrop already in place, holding a disco felt like the perfect plan, Perry said.<\/p>\n
“Disco Inferno is a not-for-profit community event and proceeds go toward future community projects in Blackwood,” she said.<\/p>\n
“Last year, funds raised contributed to the new playground at the Blackwood oval and we hope to continue supporting local initiatives as opportunities arise.”<\/p>\n
Besides the chance to burn up the dance floor, the event will feature a glitter and sparkle station, seven local DJs, a food truck, a wine bar, outdoor fire pits, tarot readings and a party bus service home.<\/p>\n
“We’ve worked hard to keep the event affordable and accessible, with tickets priced at just $20 and BYO drinks welcome,” Perry said.<\/p>\n
“Tickets will be available at the door, however we recommend purchasing in advance particularly if you’d like to book a seat on the party bus.”<\/p>\n
