Best Local Entry in a short story competition has been won by a Ballan man, telling the Moorabool News the story he wrote \u201ccarried a lot of meaning.\u201d
\nMatt Barbetti took out the local award at this year\u2019s Peter Carey Short Story Awards with his story titled \u2018Sweet the Bitter\u2019.
\nThe awards are organised by Moorabool Shire Council and presented by the Moorabool Shire Libraries.<\/p>\n
