VICTORIA POLICE – media release
\nPolice arrested four people in Melbourne over the past week as part of an investigation into an organised crime syndicate linked to the trafficking of drugs in Victoria.<\/p>\n

Police seized a number of items from the properties including cash, vehicles, methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

The five-month investigation has focused on an organised crime syndicate alleged to be involved in the trafficking of a range of drugs into Victoria.<\/p>\n

During the investigation, police have seized what is believed to be almost $1.5M in cash, including over $1M seized during last Saturday\u2019s warrants, as well as 30kg of drugs including heroin, methylamphetamine and cocaine.
\nThe investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n

Australia\u2019s law enforcement agencies need the community\u2019s ongoing assistance to minimise the harm caused by drugs, and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to submit at confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au<\/p>\n
