DELWP Grampians<\/p>\n

Firewood collection season is still open, but only until June 30. Now is the time to plan your firewood and energy needs for next winter.<\/p>\n

Due to last year\u2019s storms, collection sites in the Wombat State Forest will have more firewood available during the autumn collection season.<\/p>\n

We are balancing the need to ensure the fallen timber doesn\u2019t pose a fire risk with the desire to provide the community with firewood and ensure fallen logs are still available to wildlife.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re planning to visit a collection site in the Wombat State Forest, please be aware that local road closures may be in place as our storm recovery efforts continue.<\/p>\n

An interactive map of all Victorian firewood collection areas is available until 30 June at www.ffm.vic.gov.au\/firewood <\/p>\n
