FESTIVAL of the Stone has announced the remainder of its program as the 11th annual event returns to Byron Bay this Saturday, June 14.

Each May, the community gathers for Stone Brew Day, where, over an open fire, volcanic stones are heated before being lowered into the tank, lending distinctive smoky caramel notes to the beer.

At the annual festival a month later, the Stone Beer is tapped at a celebration of fresh beer, live music, and Byron winter beauty, again in support of Byron Bay’s homeless hub, Fletcher Street Cottage.

With homegrown acts and DJs set to light up the festival’s two stages, The Brew Deck stage now features Luen, Jessie Belters (UK), Cashew, Rossco and Numbers.

They join the Main Stage acts – Old Mervs, Josh Pyke, The Belair Lip Bombs, dust, Felony and strayfold.

Known as a tastemaker behind the decks, Luen is a stalwart of the Australian dance music scene, and her global DJ credentials span from New York to Peru to Australia, working with Triple J, FBi Radio, and Beats of No Nation.

The UK powerhouse Belters founded the underground club night Doppler and is a force in the techno and electro world.

Rossco’s melodic trance journey balances deep emotion with pure dance-floor uplift, and Byron Bay favourites Numbers and Cashew keep energy levels high with a feel-good fusion of house, disco, funk, and hip-hop.

The family-friendly event features a Malt Disney Art & Craft Zone, offering freeform creativity, along with painting, drawing, mask-making, Play-Doh, and garden games designed for younger children.
