HIGH energy shenanigans, glitz and glamour will explode onto stages around the country, including in Tweed Heads, when cabaret star Hans heads off on tour.
The Berlin-born talent’s Hans: Young, Fun and 21 tour lifts the curtain on Hans’ personal life — the alter ego of Matt Gilbertson — with a coming-of-age cabaret show.
Until now, the cabaret performer has kept much of his personal life to himself, but he’s ready to open up to audiences nationwide.
“I’ve been subjected to much rumour and innuendo for much of my life, so as I turn 21, I’ve decided it’s time to set the record straight,” he said.
“This is going to be more than a show, it’s going to be a party so don’t miss it — there might even be fairy bread.”

Hans first landed on stage in 2018 with his cheeky and electrifying song and dance routines on America’s Got Talent, winning the hearts of 16 million people.
His original production Hans: Like a German debuted in 2019 to sell-out crowds and was followed by a nationwide tour.
Since then, he has won Pick of the Fringe at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe Festival and made his opera debut in Candide with State Opera South Australia.
Hans will be joined on stage by his live band, The Ungrateful Bstards, and dancers, the Lucky Btches.
Hans: Young, Fun and 21 will take to the stage at Tweed Heads’ Twin Towns on October 26.
