THE Tweed Regional Museum has unveiled a creative school holiday program packed with workshops and activities for curious young minds

Celebrating NSW Youth Week (April 9-17), the museum will present workshops and creative school holiday ideas.

On April 10, Charms for the Charming Jewellery Workshop will enliven the imagination and allow it to run wild at this creative jewellery workshop with Kirsten Devitt from Each to Own.

Participants will make necklaces, bracelets, and earrings to suit their unique style or as gifts to share. All materials are supplied, and class numbers are limited.

Saturday 12 will see the Digital Drawing Workshop with professional illustrator Phoebe Paradise.

Artistic potential will be revealed as creative minds are immersed in the vibrant world of digital art. Budding artists, graphic designers, content creators and animators can express themselves in an engaging, hands-on workshop.

The museum’s holiday program includes a range of interactive brain-boosting fun for kids, including the Dino Mash-Up Workshop, where children build their own dinosaur, a Dino Charm Jewellery Workshop, visits from Wild Rangers, and a performance from Jurassic Joe.

For the smallest mini museum explorers (3+), families, and carers, storytelling, song, craft activities, and dress-ups are offered while exploring the prehistoric world of dinosaurs and the exhibition How to Draw a Dinosaur.

Designed for children aged 3+, along with their families and carers, the free, weekly Thursday sessions during term offer an immersive journey of exploration, curiosity and discovery.

Bookings for the Youth Week events are essential. For more information, visit museum.tweed.nsw.gov.au/whats-on
