A quintet of the greatest stars from the glory days of Australian rock and roll have converged in a new show at Twin Towns on Sunday, September 20.

The Good Old Days of Rock ‘n’ Roll stars a roll call of the greats, including Little Patti, Jade Hurley, Dinah Lee, Digger Revelle and Lucky Starr.

The show is not another tribute or homage. It’s a historical event, bringing together the rock and roll pioneers for the first time in over 60 years.

Many of the talented performing and recording stars of the time owe their fame to television shows such as Johnny O’Keefe’s Six O’Clock Rock and Brian Henderson’s Bandstand, which were instrumental in shaping the Australian music scene.

Of that wave of talent, this crop of stars between them recorded dozens of top-of-the-chart hits through the decades. The concert promises a revisiting and many reveries of the original hits of the time by the hitmakers who sang them.

The show is a rare opportunity to see some of the nation’s finest legends and experience their musical legacies.
