Love Letter to the Unseen: A Film Night for Wallum

Love Letter to the Unseen follows youth conservationist Spencer Hitchen’s journey to protect the endangered Maugean skate and explores wider efforts to defend fragile ecosystems from Wallum to Tasmania. After Fugue – Antoinette O’Brien

Regional artist Antoinette O’Brien presents After Fugue at Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre. Her ceramic works merge human figures with landscapes, using mineral glazes to evoke sea foam, oceans and stone cliffs. Other ceramic works include quotidian objects – embossed, as porcelain appears to be quilted, like a mattress, exploring themes of strength and rest. Colonies: The Geometric Sublime – Art That Makes Itself – Paul Brown

Paul Brown’s exhibition features artworks created by digital colonies of artificial agents – small programs that use artificial intelligence and artificial life (A-Life) to interact.
