AN award winning Elvis tribute artist will bring a live celebration of the King of Rock and Roll to Ocean Shores Country Club next month.

The Elvis Spectacular will take place on Saturday, June 6, with performer Paul Fenech leading the show alongside a five piece live band.

Fenech has spent more than 28 years performing Elvis tribute shows across Australia and overseas and is a three time winner of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.

Over the years he has appeared at events around Australia and internationally, building a long running presence on the Elvis tribute circuit.

He has also performed in Memphis, Tennessee, widely recognised as Elvis Presley’s hometown.

More than four decades after his death, Elvis Presley remains one of the world’s best known music figures, with songs including Suspicious Minds, Can’t Help Falling in Love and Jailhouse Rock continuing to attract new audiences.

Tribute performances dedicated to Presley have become a global phenomenon, with fans drawn to the music, stage presence and distinct eras of his career, from the early rock and roll years through to the jumpsuit era of the 1970s.

Organisers described the show as “a night of pure rock ‘n’ roll magic” and “the ultimate live tribute to the King”.

The show begins at 7.30pm and will feature two 50 minute sets with a 20 minute intermission.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite and from Ocean Shores Country Club reception.
