A giant inflatable attraction is set to bring high-flying fun to the Northern Rivers these school holidays, with the popular Airheads experience landing at Ballina Coast High School.

Families and junior thrill-seekers will have the chance to bounce, climb and slide their way through the supersized inflatable course on April 11-12.

Created by local amusement company Northern Rivers Jumping Castles, the attraction features Australia’s biggest obstacle course, along with a rock-climbing wall, auto racer, storm ride, mechanical bull, and a toddler playground.

Visitors can also enjoy food trucks, carnival games, and character meet-and-greets.

Airheads have run big show on New Years Eve and are expanding into Ballina after previous set ups at Alstonville and Lismore.

The company has grown to become one of the largest amusement providers from the Gold Coast to Newcastle.

The obstacle course is a big setup, and can it take four days to put together, running off two generators,” an event spokesperson said.

The Airheads event is designed to run in 2-hour sessions over two days, with up to 250 children able to tackle the obstacle course each day.

“Adults are welcome to join the fun, making it a true family-friendly experience,” an event spokesperson said.

“Additional jumping castles and equipment will reduce lineups on busier sessions.

“With thrilling activities, carnival vibes, and plenty of opportunities for active fun, the Airheads Ballina Inflatable Park is set to be the highlight of the April school holidays.”

The inflatable will return to the Alstonville Show ground in the July school holidays.
