Groovin the Moo will return to Lismore on May 9, with Baker Boy, Matt Corby and Tones and I among the major acts confirmed for the one-off regional show.
The event will take place at Oakes Oval, bringing a mix of Australian and international artists to the Northern Rivers.
Lismore residents will have exclusive access to the Homegrown Groovers presale, with tickets available from Tuesday, March 3.
US hip hop artist Denzel Curry is set to return to Australia after headlining the festival’s regional tour in 2023.
Tones and I will also return to the Northern Rivers following 18 months of arena performances and chart success, including collaborations with David Guetta and Teddy Swims.
Baker Boy recently released his second album and continues to tour nationally.
Other acts on the lineup include Maple’s Pet Dinosaur, Ninajirachi, The Chats and The Terrys.
Local artists Byron Bay band The Colliflowers and 17-year-old Angel White have also been announced, with Planet Music running a competition to secure one additional local act on the bill.
Groovin the Moo is presented by Great Southern Nights with support from the NSW Government through Destination NSW, in partnership with the Australian Recording Industry Association.
ARIA chief executive officer Annabelle Herd said the festival’s return marked an important moment for regional live music.
“This is a genuinely special moment for Australian music,” she said.
“Groovin the Moo has long been a rite of passage for artists and fans, and a reminder of the role regional Australia plays in the live music ecosystem.”
Information on camping and shuttle transport is now available online, with fans able to register their interest through the official Groovin the Moo sign-up form.
