The event was part of the college’s annual trip to the region, where students assist with ongoing flood recovery efforts.
Three workshops were held at parks across Lismore, including a big turnout at the new skate park.
Resilient Lismore is a local charity that continues to help with rebuilding and recovery efforts from the floods.
The charity also runs a range of community events to engage and support youth across the region.
St Philip’s Christian College has supported the Lismore community through its chaplaincy team’s annual service trips, which involve fundraising and distributing donations.

Students from the Cessnock campus have previously helped make flood-damaged homes habitable again by painting walls, removing staples from floors, clearing debris, tidying gardens and restoring water tanks.
The school has also assisted with hot meals and offered a listening ear to those in need at the Winsome Hotel and Lismore Soup Kitchen.
“Since 2023, our school has sent teams of students and staff to support local organisations that work tirelessly to restore hope and stability to the area,” a school spokesperson said.
“These experiences teach our students that building community means reaching out in love, working together and bringing hope wherever we go.”
The school has raised more than $2000 in the past three years and has provided $100 gift vouchers from Sanitarium Health Food Company.
