THE possibility of facing an emergency in the future is high, but you can mitigate the risks to your safety by being prepared.

Red Cross EmergencyRedi Workshops help residents gain valuable skills in household emergency preparedness and will be held in the region this month.

The interactive session gives an introduction to “all hazards” household preparedness, starting your own RediPlan, talking through a household emergency kit and learning the tools to continue preparing yourself and people (and pets) around you for emergencies.

The workshops offer the chance to learn and connect with others in the community and enjoy afternoon tea together.

The workshops are organised by the Australian Red Cross.
