MUSEUM visitors and residents are being asked to help shape Tweed Regional Museum’s priorities for the next three years.

A draft strategy for 2025–28 has been released for community feedback, outlining the museum’s focus on cultural leadership, First Nations engagement, accessibility, support for regional creatives, sustainability and innovation.

The strategy was developed with input from local stakeholders and will guide exhibitions, education programs and events through to 2028.

Tweed Regional Museum undertakes strategic planning every four years to align with council frameworks and sector trends.

The museum, which recently secured a $350,000 state government grant to continue its annual street party, said the process helps ensure it remains a dynamic and inclusive cultural hub.

The draft strategy is open for comment until August 8.
