BLUESFEST Byron Bay, Australia’s most awarded music festival, will hold its final event in 2025.<\/p>\n
After 35 years of bringing top “Blues, Roots, and Beyond” artists to Australia, the festival will take its last bow at the Byron Events Farm.<\/p>\n
Festival director Peter Noble issued the following statement:<\/p>\n
“To my Dear Bluesfest Family, and after more than 50 years in the music business, Bluesfest has been a labour of love, a celebration of music, community, and the resilient spirit of our fans.<\/p>\n
“But after the 2025 festival, as much as it pains me to say this, it\u2019s time to close this chapter.<\/p>\n
“As I said earlier this year at Bluesfest 2024, next year\u2019s festival will be happening and it definitely is, but it will be our last.<\/p>\n
“To my dear Bluesfest family, I want to make it the most unforgettable experience yet.<\/p>\n
“If you\u2019ve been thinking about it, now is your last chance to experience our beloved festival.”<\/p>\n
The final Bluesfest will be a four-day event, held over the Easter long weekend from April 17 to 20, 2025, at the 300-acre Byron Events Farm.<\/p>\n
