Current occupation and background:<\/p>\n

Tweed Shire Mayor full-time for the past four years and the Deputy Mayor for three years. I worked at Sydney University and UNSW before taking over family holiday park business in 2006.<\/p>\n

How long in the Tweed community?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grew up at Wooyung, worked in Sydney and lived overseas before returning to raise my family here.<\/p>\n

Community involvement?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was president of Pottsville Community Association for seven years before joining Council.<\/p>\n

Guiding values or principles?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Community-led decision-making is my key pillar, hence my team are community-group leaders.<\/p>\n

Are you or have you been associated with any political party or cause?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve never been affiliated with any political party and I don’t support party politics in local council.<\/p>\n

Preferential voting suggestions?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To sitting councillors I believe have done a good job. Also new candidate Brady Turner.<\/p>\n

Campaign budget, and how are you funding it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The same as last time, around $5,500.<\/p>\n

Top three issues facing your area?<\/strong><\/p>\n
