BLUESFEST has experienced its biggest ticket frenzy yet, with a record-breaking 70 per cent of tickets sold in the last month.<\/p>\n

An overwhelming groundswell of support has emerged at the news that 2025 would be the entertainment giant’s final festival.<\/p>\n

In a recent statement, festival director Peter Noble said the sales were unprecedented.<\/p>\n

“The response to our first two artist announcements has been overwhelmingly positive, further fuelling the excitement as we approach the festival,” he said.<\/p>\n

“We are still working away on an international artists announcement that we will be delivering soon.”<\/p>\n

In addition, on-site camping facilities have sold out, leaving some limited places in the glamping, Rainbow Tipi and Tent Motel options.<\/p>\n

“We understand the importance of the complete festival camping experience and are diligently working on alternative solutions and additional accommodation options. We are committed to ensuring that everyone who wishes to stay close to the action can do so,” Mr Noble said.<\/p>\n

Touring arm Bluesfest Tours has announced five artist sideshows from Rag N Bone Man, Allison Russell, RY X, Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram, and the newly announced tour for BJ The Chicago Kid.<\/p>\n

Mr Noble thanked festivalgoers for their support and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

“Your passion propels Bluesfest forward and ensures each festival is better than the last,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Keep an eye out for further updates as we strive to make this year’s Bluesfest an epic celebration you won’t forget.”<\/p>\n

The NSW Government petition to save the festival has so far garnered 8991 signatures at the time of writing. For e-petitions, 20,000 signatures are required for the matter to be scheduled for debate in the House.<\/p>\n
