Photo CATHY ADAMS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To elevate the food offering, culinary director Justin North has been brought in to design a menu focused on sustainable local seafood, alongside a new woodfired pizza oven.<\/p>\n<p>The renovation will also include a new bar area, an extended pavilion, and more undercover seating, ensuring guests are comfortable year-round.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2024\/10\/20241018_091822_39259.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Shaws Bay Hotel interior has been stripped for renovation. Photo CATHY ADAMS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This will be a huge drawcard as our guests will be warm and dry no matter the season,&#8221; Ms Jones said. &#8220;With a subtle blend of colonial charm and tropical theming, it will be a beautiful venue.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Historic Fenwick House, part of the property, will be preserved as part of the renovation. Although it won&#8217;t be open to the public, the pub&#8217;s new courtyard will offer dining around the perimeter of the house in an undercroft area.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2024\/10\/20241018_0917261_39254.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Shaws Bay Hotel interior has been stripped for renovation.
