Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We invite everyone to come and explore the exciting new features and to shop, dine and relax in this must-visit destination.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The project began in late 2021 and focused on upgrading Ballina Street from Byron Street to Park Lane, rejuvenating Ross and Lennox parks, and improving infrastructure and accessibility for locals and visitors.<\/p>\n<p>Major infrastructure upgrades to Ballina Street include full road reconstruction, stormwater upgrades, water main replacement, new pedestrian crossings, widened paved footpaths and a shared zone in the central hub, and connecting cafes and restaurants with open green spaces and the coastline.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_104224\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-104224\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-104224\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2024\/10\/Lennox_LennoxParkpro_65900_tn.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-104224\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lennox Park provides green open space perfect for picnics.
