THE Women’s Giving Circle (WGC) will host a ‘Heart Opening Brunch’ for WGC members and women interested in joining the circle on November 14.<\/p>\n

The morning aims to connect and inspire at a brunch gathering hosted by Myocum-based circle member Monique Jowsey.<\/p>\n

Participants can expect inspiring success stories from local women, journal inspiration and heart-opening guided exercises, local prizes and a session dedicated to brainstorming ways to give back.<\/p>\n

Ms Jowsey said the brunch would be a warm gathering of people from the WGC and prospective members.<\/p>\n

“The plan is to guide guests through a series of experiences that will be very heart-opening and offer feedback and inspiration from guests as to how we can activate heart-based decisions in the leadership spaces,” she said.<\/p>\n

“I will guide two exercises and draw on the ‘Avatar’ materials for the ‘Compassion Exercise’ and ‘Action 9’ of the ‘Ten Actions Booklet’.<\/p>\n

“We also have a success story guest speaker and prizes for the gold coin raffle.”<\/p>\n

The event provides an opportunity for women to come together, reflect and brainstorm about how to extend generosity beyond money within the community.<\/p>\n

Attendees will learn how to make a difference locally with global impact and will have an opportunity to win gift vouchers for a dance class, Feldenkrais session, Kiva Spa, Bread Social and The Patch along the way.<\/p>\n

The Women’s Giving Circle is a collective of passionate women taking action to tackle local disadvantage.<\/p>\n

The organisation always welcomes women connected to the Northern Rivers who want to join the community and create change, believing that collective generosity can transform the lives of women and children in the region.<\/p>\n

The Open Your Heart: Myocum Brunch + Action Gathering will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm, with the address available on registration.<\/p>\n
