	{"id":106708,"date":"2025-05-02T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-01T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/tweedcoasttimes\/?p=106708"},"modified":"2025-04-30T17:36:16","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T07:36:16","slug":"pipit-pops-up-at-the-brooklet-for-luxe-fire-cooked-feasts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/tweedcoasttimes\/living\/pipit-pops-up-at-the-brooklet-for-luxe-fire-cooked-feasts\/","title":{"rendered":"Pipit pops up at The Brooklet for luxe fire-cooked feasts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AWARD-winning Pottsville restaurant Pipit is bringing its flame-kissed flair to the Byron Bay hinterland this winter, teaming up with luxury retreat The Brooklet for an exclusive outdoor pop-up dining series.<\/p>\n<p>Set in The Brooklet&#8217;s scenic open-air, wood-fired kitchen, this intimate culinary experience will host just 10 guests per sitting on Saturdays and Sundays throughout June and July.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration was sparked at the NSW State Tourism Awards gala in Sydney last November, where Pipit&#8217;s business manager Yen Trinh met Greta and Perry Smith, the owners of The Brooklet.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by international fine dining residencies \u2014 like Noma&#8217;s seasonal move to Kyoto and Anchovy&#8217;s rural Tasmanian escape \u2014 the partnership aims to bring something truly unique to the Northern Rivers region.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Brooklet was already interested in food and offering private chefs, cooking classes and wine events,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Pipit was also regularly doing pop-ups, but we also wanted to test and build concepts for longer too.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/05\/Pipitpop-upatTheBroo_75375.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Guests at the Pipit pop-up can expect an intimate dining experience in the outdoor kitchen at The Brooklet.
