A MULTI-AGENCY community health survey is now open to residents from Murwillumbah and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n

The Murwillumbah Health Services Survey aims to identify local priorities and barriers that community members face when accessing health services.<\/p>\n

The anonymous survey is seeking feedback on general practices, hospital services, community health services, allied health, mental health, and drug and alcohol support services.<\/p>\n

Tweed Shire deputy mayor Meredith Dennis said it was an opportunity for local people to help guide the future of healthcare in the community.<\/p>\n

“Your voice truly matters,” Cr Dennis said.<\/p>\n

“By taking just ten minutes to share your experiences with local health services, you’ll be helping shape improvements that benefit not just you, but the whole Murwillumbah community – now and into the future.”<\/p>\n

Part of the Collaborative Care program, the survey is a community-centred program that addresses healthcare needs in regional and rural communities.<\/p>\n

The initiative is a collaboration between Tweed Shire Council, Northern NSW Local Health District, Healthy North Coast, NSW Ambulance, Murwillumbah Community Centre, and the Rural Doctors Network.<\/p>\n

Social media posts and street posters in town contain information and survey links, and printed survey forms are available at the Tweed Shire Council services desk in Murwillumbah.<\/p>\n

“I encourage everyone to get involved and make sure your needs and ideas are heard as we work together to build a healthier, stronger community for all,” Cr Dennis said.<\/p>\n

The Murwillumbah Health Services Survey is open to all residents over the age of 15 until Sunday, August 3.<\/p>\n
