MUSEUM visitors and residents are being asked to help shape Tweed Regional Museum’s priorities for the next three years.<\/p>\n

A draft strategy for 2025\u201328 has been released for community feedback, outlining the museum’s focus on cultural leadership, First Nations engagement, accessibility, support for regional creatives, sustainability and innovation.<\/p>\n

The strategy was developed with input from local stakeholders and will guide exhibitions, education programs and events through to 2028.<\/p>\n

Tweed Regional Museum undertakes strategic planning every four years to align with council frameworks and sector trends.<\/p>\n

The museum, which recently secured a $350,000 state government grant to continue its annual street party, said the process helps ensure it remains a dynamic and inclusive cultural hub.<\/p>\n

The draft strategy is open for comment until August 8.<\/p>\n
