More than 180 people have already taken part in seven workshops across the region, sharing ideas on how to create a more sustainable and connected future.<\/p>\n<p>Organiser Carmen Stewart said the sessions had been embraced by a broad mix of people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A regenerative future is not going to be easy, but it&#8217;s inevitable, as we have no choice but to regenerate environmentally, socially and culturally,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_114446\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-114446\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-114446\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/07\/picture_20250718_143_96893.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"345\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-114446\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Imagine Northern Rivers workshops bring a diversity of community and business together to work from the ground up. Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Recent attendee Simon Jankelson said the experience offered a valuable chance to reflect and connect.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The workshop was delightful because it offered the opportunity to imagine a future I want to live in and to do that with a whole bunch of people,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It didn&#8217;t feel like it dragged on \u2013 it was action-packed and more fun than the average workshop.
