BALLINA will host a three-day pickleball tournament from August 1 to 3, drawing 242 players from across Australia.<\/p>\n

The Northern Rivers Regional Rally will be held at the Ballina Indoor Sports Centre on Cherry Street.<\/p>\n

Players aged 20 to over 75 will compete across Skinny Singles, Gender Doubles and Mixed Doubles events.<\/p>\n

The tournament sold out within an hour of registration opening, which organisers say shows the sport’s growing popularity in regional areas.<\/p>\n

“This tournament highlights the incredible momentum behind pickleball growth worldwide, including in regional Australia,” Northern Rivers Pickleball Club president Steve Bergan said.<\/p>\n

“It’s not just about competition, it’s about connection, inclusion, and having a great time together.”<\/p>\n

Spectators can attend for free across all three days.<\/p>\n
