FOLK band, The Heart Collectors, is returning to Tyalgum’s Garden of Light for its annual spring concert on Sunday, October 18.<\/p>\n

Recently returned from a nine-month North American tour, the band’s latest album The Space Between was named a finalist for Best Album at the 2025 International Folk Music Awards, and the group was one of five Australian acts nominated for Group of the Year at the Australian Folk Music Awards.<\/p>\n

Cellist Mobius Barnaby said the group was excited about the concert in Tyalgum.<\/p>\n

“Our USA tour was an incredible adventure,” Barnaby said.<\/p>\n

“It’s a delight for us to share our journey through our music and stories at this upcoming event.”<\/p>\n

Renowned for its soaring four-part harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, The Heart Collectors has captivated audiences internationally, with streaming platforms describing the music as Epic Folk.<\/p>\n

The intimate garden concert is the band’s only date in the region on its Australian East Coast tour and will include classic songs alongside new music from the latest EP Alchymie, which reached #7 on the US Folk Radio charts.<\/p>\n

Lead vocalist Kymrie Henge described the group’s sound as having ‘folk-Celtic roots with an ethereal lilt’.<\/p>\n

“These new songs are a continued sonic exploration for us as a group,” Henge said.<\/p>\n

Set within the property’s country-cottage Circle Garden, the afternoon concert promises fine music in a classic Tweed Valley atmosphere.<\/p>\n

There will be catering from Flutterbies Cottage Caf\u00e9, along with a gin and beer bar.<\/p>\n
