Photos: DAVID COPE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While Saturday night&#8217;s fireworks were brought forward by about 40 minutes due to the threat of a storm, the rest of the show ran smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights included a truck show featuring more than 90 trucks from across NSW and Queensland, woodchopping for the first time, and a demolition derby.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/11\/PalomafromCreativeAr_01732.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"756\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Face painter Paloma from Creative Art Studio with Anna Freeman at Mullumbimby Show.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural mullet contest featured entries across four categories \u2014 kids, teens, adults and silver fox \u2014 showcasing a variety of creative takes on the classic cut.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was just a suggestion by a local builder whose son has a mullet and I thought it was a great idea,&#8221; Walker said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/11\/AerialactionatMullum_04074.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"404\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mower racing at Mullumbimby Show.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Money raised from ticket sales will go towards paying for entertainment and next year&#8217;s event.
