Marquardt said the production would remain faithful to the original stage adaptation, featuring well known characters, songs and moments audiences expect.<\/p>\n
He said the months of preparation had helped students develop resilience and teamwork.<\/p>\n
“A musical such as Beauty and the Beast involves hundreds of hours of rehearsals, teamwork and problem solving, all of which help students build resilience, discipline and confidence,” he said.<\/p>\n
He added that productions often created lasting friendships and a strong sense of shared achievement.<\/p>\n
“These experiences are incredibly powerful for student wellbeing because they help students feel connected, valued, and proud of what they have achieved together,” he said.<\/p>\n
The musical runs from March 25 to 28 at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School.<\/p>\n
