“It’s not something you can just click your fingers and make happen,” Rudgley said.<\/p>\n
“It’s been months and months of work to get to this point, and now we want to repay that with results.”<\/p>\n
A key feature of the program is its flexibility between senior and under-23 squads, allowing younger players to train and compete alongside top-grade teammates.<\/p>\n
The approach is designed to fast-track development and create a clear pathway for emerging talent in the Northern Rivers.<\/p>\n
“It’s massive for young players,” Rudgley said.<\/p>\n
“They can train with the first team, earn minutes, and develop without being locked into one grade.<\/p>\n
“That’s a big step forward for football in this region and we believe the rewards will come.<\/p>\n
“We’re asking players to be brave and step outside their comfort zone.”<\/p>\n
