Join Jivan Joti Kaur Khalsa PhD (Counselling/Psychology) in an evening of Sat Nam Rasayan healing.
Translated from Sanskrit, Sat Nam Rasayan means “deep relaxation in the divine name; to raise oneself to the essence of true identity”.
This ancient form of healing is based on consciousness of the selfand the ability “to feel” through the body’s eight energy centres, or chakras.
Jivan Joti will spend only a few weeks in Australia, where she has workshops planned in major capital cities. For lucky Surf Coast residents, Jivan has a great desire to tour the Great Ocean Road. Australian National Surfing Museum, 77 Beach Road, healing for modern times Torquay will host a workshop on Wednesday February 24 from 6-9pm.
Tickets are $55 single and $80 double. Students of all disciplines of yoga, and those interested in self-transformation, have the chance to attend this evening of selfexploration, balance and renewal.
They will share the rare opportunity to experience first-hand the teachings of a revered internationally recognised Kundalini Yoga instructor and Nam Rasayan practitioner.
Participants will learn how to recognise the sensations of the five tattvas, or elements, within the body – fire, water, earth, air and ether – and the chakra to which each element corresponds.
Chakras are invisible wheels of energy within the body that vibrate at different frequencies. The eight chakras are windows into our wellbeing – physically, emotionally and spiritually.
As we tune into this power, through yoga and meditation, we become internally strengthened. The result is a balance of power that helps us to deal more effectively with the life challenges, leading us to live more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Jivan Jot will share Kundalini Yoga kriyas, sets and meditations to balance individual chakras where the flow of prana (breath energy) is blocked.
Jivan Joti Kaur Khalsa has been teaching Kundalini Yoga, meditation and humanology – the science of conscious living – in the US and around the world for 46 years.
It’s her passion to share the ancient yogic tools to enhance our personal and professional lives.
