“I know exactly what you’re going through”
Cahill and Rowe Family Law offer legal advice and representation in all aspects of separation and divorce, including child arrangements and property settlement.
Allison had practised exclusively in family law in Geelong since her admission to practice as a lawyer in 1998. Originally from Melbourne, Allison graduated her Law Degree with Honours at Monash University in 1997, then relocated to Geelong to complete Articles of Clerkship with a longstanding and very highly regarded private Geelong law firm.
Allison then spent several years helping family law clients in the community legal and legal aid sectors in Geelong, before taking the plunge in 2003 and opening her very own law firm practising exclusively in family law. It was a bold, courageous and, at the time, incredibly daunting move for a 28 year old. But she has never looked back.
Joining forces with her long term family law colleague and close friend, Paul Cahill, was only ever going to be a matter of time and, in 2007, the Cahill and Rowe Family Law team was officially born.
Allison brings 24 years of family law experience and skills to her practice. She represents clients from across Australia in parenting and property matters, including complex financial matters with commercial business structures. She is highly regarded by her clients and peers, and is regularly ranked by Doyles Guide as a Leading Family Lawyer for Regional Victoria.
Allison develops close professional relationships and connections with her clients, ensuring all of their questions are answered and their best interests are advanced. She has personally experienced, on two occasions, the painful process of separation and divorce with young children involved. She has a particular interest in parenting arrangements for very young children and the issues confronting blended/stepfamilies.
Drawing on her own personal experiences, and her 24 years in family law practice, Allison represents her clients passionately, personally and with the meticulous attention to detail for which she is well known and regarded.
