Storytelling, entertainment and a jumper presentation marked the occasion, as excitement builds ahead of the club’s first campaign in the Bellarine Football Netball League.

Football president Jay Williams said he was proud of how far the club had come ahead of its senior debut.

“There’s a lot of emotion behind what this club means to us, and it was really important to let those in the room know about all the hard work that has gone in over a long period of time.

“Step by step, we’ve built this up, and now Round 1 is coming and we are so excited.

“It’s coming around fast and we are so proud of how we are shaping up.”
