Everything you need to know about The Ballarat Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo

 

Love the Outdoors? Then the Ballarat Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo is for you.

A large selection of local and interstate exhibitors will be on site for the event, which starts on Friday, 30 April between 11am and 5pm, Saturday, 1 May between 10am and 5pm and Sunday, 2  May from 10am until 4pm.

This three-day event will showcase everything from the latest in caravans, campervans and camper trailers, hybrid caravans, four-wheel-drives and 4×4 accessories to metal detectors, fishing gear, demonstrations and activities for the whole family.

“We are really excited to be back here at Ballarat,” said Richard Hiscock, the Exhibition Manager of The Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo.

“It’s been a very difficult year for everyone, The Great Outdoor Expos was the last major event in Victoria at Mornington in March and having the expos start again is just the start of getting back to normal in a post COVID world.

This year Expo will also include camping gear, holiday and adventure destinations, gold detecting and a unique range of outdoor furniture.

There are bargains galore available at The Ballarat Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo. Many exhibitors will be offering show specials, so make sure you drop in and grab yourself a bargain.

“There is a lot to see, including demonstrations and activities for the whole family. We think it will be a fantastic day out for everyone,” said Mr Hiscock.

Who is at the Expo?

Interested in caravans and camping? The extensive list of exhibitors include Jayco, Franklin, Hilltop Caravans, Southern Design RV, Crusader Caravans, Summerlife RVs and many others. If it is a camper trailer you are looking for, we are well represented by Lumberjack Campers, Starvision, Fantasy, Goldfields Campers and many more. A large variety of small boutique companies will also be exhibiting their wares.

VTackle will be at the Expo with their huge range of fishing gear, all discounted heavily, come and see them and grab a bargain.

For four-wheel-drives and accessories there’ll be Ballarat Trailers and Towbars and Jungle 4 x 4.

Malandy Outdoor will be there with a huge range of Camping equipment, all at clear-out prices.

There will also be a range of campfire cooking equipment.

EE Day & Sons will have Minelab detectors and will be demonstrating their new detector models and show you how to find a gold nugget!

 

What can you do there?

If you are an experienced caravan or camper looking to upgrade, or a first timer there is something for everyone at the Ballarat Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo. If it is information that you are looking for, be it fishing, boating, and the dos and don’ts of camping then come along and talk to the experts.
