Together we can save lives

November 17, 2022 BY

The Strike Out Suicide campaign is calling on people to throw as many strikes as possible in December.

THIS annual fourteen-day Strike Out Suicide campaign will get thousands of people across the nation completing daily “boxing strikes”.

The effort aims to raise funds and awareness to save lives, remove the stigma around mental health and suicide and bring people across the nation together to inspire others through connection, hope, fitness and fun.

Not everyone can do push-ups or run a marathon, but you can shadow box at the very least.

No boxing experience or boxing equipment is necessary, we’re simply asking you to throw as many strikes as you can, over the first two weeks of December.

Join Aussies across the country to Strike Out Suicide. It’s a great way to advance your fitness, improve your mood, reduce stress and benefit your mental health.

The more strikes you throw, the more you, and everyone around you, prospers.

Record your sessions, keep track of your strikes and share with your networks. Seek donations, find sponsors, and have an impact on mental health.

Feel free to take part on your own or rally up some friends, family or work colleagues and start striking.

Funds raised will support the Good Blokes Society that’s helping men to connect, and openly discuss their mental wellbeing.

Registrations are live. So, what are you waiting for – visit strike-out-suicide-campaign.raisely.com.

Let’s bring awareness to the growing incidence of suicide, in addition to removing the stigma, dispelling the myths, and educating the public.

Would you like a world without suicide? We would.
