THE Wanderers Theatre will host their first Gala Night on 29 May at the Ballarat Performing Arts Centre.

The theatre company is inviting new and previous audience members to celebrate their 2025 season, learn more about the company and find out what’s happening in 2026.

“The Wanderers Theatre is a Ballarat-based independent theatre company specialising in Site-Specific Theatre,” said founding member Zephya Amelie.

“The company was founded in 2024 by a group of diverse young artists, united by their passion for creating unique and innovative work.

“The Wanderers Theatre values inclusivity and reinvention aiming to create exciting theatre that challenges traditions, as well as provide opportunities for emerging artists.

“We are based on Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung Country and are committed to providing professional quality theatre to regional audiences, as well as performance opportunities for regional artists.”

The Wanderers Theatre held two productions last year, A Midsummer Night’s Dream in January and Vinegar Tom in November.

“It is time to celebrate and look ahead,” said Amelie.

“We would be delighted for everyone to join us at the gala to celebrate our 2025 season, find out more about our company, and be the first to hear our plans for 2026.

“The night will include live music and performances, finger food, drinks available at the bar, and our 2026 Show Announcement.”

The Gala Night will be held in the Main Hall of the Ballarat Performing Arts Centre, 501/503 Neill Street, Soldiers Hill from 7pm to 10pm.
