THE eighth annual Great Australian Beer Festival Geelong is moving to a new home in central Geelong on Saturday, 18 January. One ticket purchased = one chance to win. It’s that simple! Buy a ticket, go into the draw!

Winner will be announced Boxing Day, 26 December.

Why you can’t miss GABF 2020

GABF is all about exploring and discovering – 40 breweries, pop-up themed bars, 200+ brews, all paired with damn good food.

There’s no better place to discover everything wonderful about beer. The festival unites craft beer enthusiasts with a selection of the very best brewers from around the country to taste, reflect upon, and explore the hoppy drop in all its glory.

Picture hundreds of amazing beers and ciders that you can sample or just kick back and relax with.

There’s a smorgasbord of artisan brews from across the country together with brews from the Geelong, Bellarine, Surf Coast and Otway regions to taste. GABF being the only place in Australia you will find all these local brewers in the one place.

While beer lovers are in for a treat, so are the music lovers!  Headlining is Sneaky Sound System renowned for their massive hits UFO, Pictures and I Love with indie traveller, Kim Churchill and local bands The Kite Machine and The Run also performing on the day.

While GABF mixes the familiar elements of an outdoor beer festival – the pop-up bars, educational sessions, slow-cooked meats and great burgers, it adds more obscure flourishes.

By more, you can expect to find a rocking piano-bar, beer cocktails, slushies, a gin & wine bar; even find yourself in a wacky dance off or judging a best beard competition.

GABF overflows with fun, from the moment you set hands on your tasting glass, till the time you are tipping back your last beer or cider.

Now that’s a perfectly crafted experience. Good Beer, Great Times.

Great Australian Beer Festival Geelong is set for Saturday, 18 January, 1pm to 8pm Johnstone Park, Geelong. Tickets only $39+ booking fee.
