EVERY Christmas for almost 20 years Selkirk Brick has made a large donation of toys to 3BA Christmas Appeal.

This year it is no different.

There will be presents under the Christmas trees of Ballarat families in need, due to the generosity of the management and staff of the Ballarat based brick and paver manufacturer.

Selkirk contribute gifts purchased from Ballarat Toyworld as well as toys donated by its staff.

Executive Assistant Karen Osborne said, “Over the years we have probably spent in excess of $20,000 supporting this worthy cause.”

“Selkirk want to make sure that the disadvantaged children in Ballarat all receive a toy from Santa.”

About three years ago Selkirk decided that in lieu of corporate gifts for their business clients and contacts they would divert their giving to be part of their donation to the 3BA Appeal.

Appeal ambassador Peter Caligari said, “Selkirk is a caring and responsible corporate citizen who along with many other Ballarat businesses and organisations annually support our mission to spread a little joy at Christmas.”
