Christmas ’Rat run kids will love

THE story of Balla and Pete Rat is set to engage and delight families this Christmas following the installation of Visit Ballarat’s festive arts trail.

Spaced out across Ballarat’s CBD, 10 bright and colourful illustrations tell the tale of two curious little rats, desperate to find the perfect star to top their tree.

Local artists and designers, Travis Price, Caroline Keys and Ben Sanders have collaborated to produce the drawings and installations.

Each of their mind-bending illustrations is accompanied by a page of written story, ‘The Christmas Tale of Balla-Rat’s Star’ and points the viewer in the direction of the next scene.
