Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Maryborough after a rider was found deceased early Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Elgin and Phelan roads about 7.20am on 23 April.
A male rider was located at the scene alongside his motorcycle.
It is believed the crash occurred sometime overnight.
Investigators say the rider may have lost control of the motorcycle before it left the roadway.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear as police work to piece together what happened in the hours before the discovery.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area, to come forward.
The roads where the incident occurred are typically quiet, raising hopes that passing motorists or nearby residents may still hold crucial information.
