Ballarat is officially on the map for one of the biggest basketball celebrations in history, with the Harlem Globetrotters set to bring their 100 Year Tour to the city in 2026.
The world-famous team will make a rare regional appearance in Ballarat as part of their once-in-a-century tour, showcasing gravity-defying dunks, jaw-dropping tricks and family-friendly fun that’s thrilled fans across generations.
The tour celebrates 100 years of Globetrotter history, with new surprises including a golden basketball by Spalding, Magic Pass meet-and-greets, and a free 5th Quarter autograph session after every show.
NBL Group CEO David Stevenson said the tour is more than a spectacle – it’s a celebration of community and connection.
“We’ve worked closely with the Harlem Globetrotters since 2018, and bringing their 100 Year Tour to regional cities like Ballarat is something really special,” he said.
“They’re not just incredible athletes – they’re entertainers and role models who inspire fans of all ages.”
Ballarat locals will get the chance to witness the Globetrotters clash once again with long-time rivals the Washington Generals, wearing all-new centennial jerseys and performing their signature blend of comedy and athleticism.
With more than 60 Guinness World Records, including 18 set in the past year alone, the Globetrotters continue to break new ground on and off the court.
Ballarat fans are encouraged to grab tickets early, with the team’s last visit to Australia drawing more than 120,000 people across the country.
Tickets go on sale 1pm AEDT, Tuesday 9 December 2025 via hg100.com.au.
