PICK OF THE CROP

THREE top students were acknowledged at Federation University Australia’s School of Science, Engineering and Information Technology’s Student Awards Presentation Ceremony at the Mt Helen campus.

Amy Gillett took out the Academic Excellence Award for the top Mathematical Science graduating student.

The recipient of Engineers Australia’s A E Stohr Medal for the most outstanding academic achievement for a final year Engineering student was presented to Shalinka Fernando.

Jose Fernandez was awarded the R W Richards Medal for the most outstanding academic performance in the last two years of a Bachelor of Geoscience, Bachelor of Food and Nutritional Science, Bachelor of Environmental and Conservation Science.
