BARRY Plant Real Estate Ballarat has formed a supportive partnership with the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre’s Wellness Centre.

BRICC and the agency are hosting their first Christmas Cancer Raffle, with every dollar raised going towards the Wellness Centre’s operations supporting the region’s cancer patients.

A Fliteboard, accommodation in Port Fairy, Torquay, and the New South Wales coastal town of Mollymook, a children’s cubby house, and vouchers for property styling and photoshoots are up for grabs as part of the $20,000 prize pool.

“This is something we’re incredibly proud to be a part of, to raise money for a fantastic cause,” said Barry Plant marketing coordinator Jacob Douglas.

“Cancer hits home for a lot of people, including myself, and the Wellness Centre is for everyone.”

Wellness Centre coordinator Simone Noelker said every dollar raised will help provide free programs and support services to all cancer patients at BRICC.

“When people are diagnosed with cancer, it is a time of uncertainty and fear. At the Wellness Centre, we help people address the challenges of cancer beyond their medical treatment and it has become an important part of our patient’s journeys,” she said.

“However, the Wellness Centre relies on community fundraising to provide these services. Our Christmas Cancer Raffle gives our community the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes, while allowing us to continue to support cancer patients and their families.

“Through the generosity of our local community and corporate partners, we’ve got a wonderful array of prizes. Their generosity means that every dollar raised through the raffle goes straight to the Wellness Centre.”

Christmas Cancer Raffle tickets are $10 each or six for $50. Visit bit.ly/3U8NiyM, email [email protected], or head into the Barry Plant Ballarat office at 806 Sturt Street or the BRICC Wellness Centre on Sturt Street for tickets.

The raffle will be drawn at 10am on Thursday, 1 December.
