Reunion marks Golden Point school’s 150th

FORMER students, staff and families of Golden Point Primary School gathered for a reunion at Eureka Hall last Sunday 26 October to mark the 150th anniversary of the school’s establishment. It was state school No 1493, opening in 1875 and closing in 1993. The building which overlooks Grant Street is now a Pinarc Disability Support facility and some attendees of the reunion took part in a tour.
