NICOLE Hurkens has earned the epithet of superwoman.

Ms Hurkens has been nominated for the Women in Finance Awards and the AusMumpreneur Awards in recognition of her business endeavours.

A qualified CPA accountant, owner of Allstyle Business Solutions, mother of two daughters, married to a fourth generation Werneth farmer and currently managing her dad’s caravan business in Ararat she knows how to multitask.

“I was quite stoked when I was named finalist in two categories of the Women in Finance Awards,” Ms Hurkens said.

“To be selected as one out of ten finalists, out of hundreds of applicants, is a really big accomplishment [it’s] like you have already won even if you are not winning the final title.”

She is a finalist in the Regional Professional of the Year and the Small Business Adviser of the Year categories of the Women in Finance Awards, a joint venture of AMP Bank and Momentum Media.

“The Women in Finance Awards program champions the unique, modern and innovative set of business and leadership skills women bring to the table in finance,” Katarina Taurian, head of editorial at Momentum Media said.

The AusMumpreneur Network celebrate and recognise Australian mums in business achieving outstanding success in areas such as business excellence, product development, customer service and digital innovation.

The awards are designed to acknowledge the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.

“As women we can be very busy doing many things for many other people wearing a lot of hats and it’s nice to be recognised that you are doing something else on top of all your other responsibilities,” Ms Hurkens said.

She has been selected for the people’s choice section of the AusMumpreneur Awards for the Customer Service Award and Business Coach Award categories.

Ms Hurkens said she created Allstyle to help business owners achieve financial freedom through increasing financial literacy and business confidence.

“We empower people to create businesses and lives they love,” she said.

“Being a part of these awards will help propel Allstyle forward to be able to reach and help more families in business.”
