WITH this in mind, Ray White Ballarat is hosting a must see information evening, where a host of industry professionals, will present on the most up to date information to assist landlords and investors manage their portfolio.

If you are new to the property investment market or a current landlord, then this information session, to be held this coming Monday, is just for you.

The topics to be covered by a panel of experts in this most informative evening are pertinent to those currently in the market or looking to invest in property.

Ray White Ballarat director Phillip Lee, who has over 32 years real estate experience and an incredible knowledge of the Ballarat real estate market, will cover the recent major changes to the Residential Tenancies Act which are due to be implemented, and what this means for landlords.

Mortgage Choice’s Stephen Britton will look at investor financing options and will explain how you can borrow by leveraging off current assets to invest in more property, the different types of investment loans, interest rates and purchase costs.

BMT Quantity Surveyors Hugh Diskin will advise on maximising depreciation claims will discuss what tax depreciation
is, and how it can financially benefit landlords by helping cash flow and tax benefits.

Simplex Insurance Solutions Kay Jackson will cover landlord insurance protection and discuss what type of landlord cover is needed to protect investors from loss of rent, damages and drugs in rental properties.

Ray White Ballarat director Trevor Booth, who has a background in property valuations and real estate for over 40 years, will provide a market overview and opportunities session.

Trevor will provide an update on the state of rental and investment markets, current and past vacancy rates, median prices and potential opportunities.

Ray White Ballarat Jordan Keast and Kate Brennan will talk about what tenants are looking for.

The team will cover rental demand and hotspots, how to present your property to maximise the rent and what tenants are looking for in a rental property.

At the end of the evening the panel of speakers and property managers will be available to answer questions.

The investor evening takes place at the Ballarat Tech School, Albert Street, Ballarat Central on Monday 15th October 2018 with registrations from 5.45pm for 6:00pm start and finishing at 7:30pm.
