Firm takes second-best rural office in Australia, first in Victoria and Josh Todd makes Premier Member

RAY White Ballarat had an outstanding evening at the recent national rural and livestock awards ceremony for the Ray White Group.

The dynamic office has come away from the awards ranking the second-best office within the rural network.

“It’s great for the whole team,” said Ray White Ballarat Director Phillip Lee. “The team have worked very hard over many years trying to give our clients the best service, and winning these awards is great recognition for their hard work and efforts.”

Since its establishment as Booth & Lee in 1989 the business has grown to become a progressive and respected force in the region. They joined Ray White Rural in 2011 and have established themselves as an authority in rural sales, particularly through the expertise of Rural Sales Manager, Josh Todd.

Chair of Ray White Rural, Paul White praised the Ballarat office’s achievements.

“Ballarat is a crucial market as both a regional growth centre and a rural hub,” he said. Our team locally deliver an exceptional service and expertise to their community and this was reflected in their successes this year.”

With key differences between selling homes in urban areas and farms, acreage and large parcels of land, Mr Lee said.

He also said that being part of the Ray White Rural network delivered other benefits to vendors and buyers.

“It’s a completely different skill set to residential sales, as is commercial,” he said.

“Being part of Ray White Rural, we also have access to a marketing agency that specialises in promoting rural property and that can by via print or digital.

“We can reach out to other rural offices throughout Australia for support and promote a seller’s property further across Australia and internationally.”

A specialist division operating in every state and territory apart from Tasmania, Ray White Rural is currently celebrating its 25th year and through continued growth they are selling about 12 per cent of all farms in Australia, last year helping over 4000 rural landholders.

The recent awards night held in Surfers Paradise celebrated the firms nationwide 120 offices with 600 rural specialists and 1000 members.

The two national rural awards add to the four from the recent Ray White Victoria/ Tasmania awards collected by the Ballarat team in late August. Back then the agency took home Number 1 Top Regional Office, Number 1 Top Exclusive Office Settled Sales, Clients Choice, and Property Management Team of the Year.
