Property management team at Harcourts Ballarat goes from strength-to-strength.

THE statewide Harcourts property manager power rankings for August are in, and this time round the Ballarat office has three names on the list.

Sarah Dawson placed ninth, frequent flyer Monique Plover landed in 13th, while Robyn Bush secured 20th position.

For Ms Dawson, who’s been working as a property manager for six months, the results were reward for effort.

“Harcourts has been great place to begin my career in real estate, with great support and access to the most efficient technology,” she said.

“I have worked hard to manage my portfolio efficiently and methodically, while being attentive and understanding to the needs of landlords and tenants. It is a great accomplishment to be named in the top 10 for the state of Victoria.”

Ms Plover is coming up on her fourth year in the industry and returns to the list after making the rankings earlier in 2019.

“Managing a portfolio of 186 properties is certainly a lot of work, but I enjoy always being busy and having something to do,” she said.

“A highlight for me would be obtaining my full real estate license last year. Harcourts Ballarat is a fantastic place to work, we are grateful to have access to up to date technology which ensures we provide excellent service to all of our clients but more importantly we are blessed with fantastic support from colleagues and directors.”

Somewhat a veteran of the successful trio, Ms Bush said that a lot of her success was down to the culture of the firm.

“Harcourts Ballarat is a fun and vibrant place to work and offers ample opportunities to improve and plenty of support from colleagues and management,” she said.

“With 10 years’ experience, I have learnt that communication throughout any letting period or maintenance project is very important, and to treat all individuals with respect.”

The Harcourts Victoria’s Top 20 property manager rankings are based on arrears, lease renewals, vacant properties and lets, and Director of the Ballarat office, Peter Ludbrook was full of praise for the achievement of all three staff members.

“It is unprecedented to have three property managers in the top 20 in Victoria all at the same time,” he said

“This recognition is deeply satisfying as it validates the enormous amount of work the whole team has done over the past couple of years to completely change the way we think about our owners and our tenants.

“As a business, we are about quality before quantity. Quality owners with quality properties attract quality tenants. By having a home that is well maintained, quality tenants reward the owners of the property by looking after the property and paying their rent on time. It’s a simple exchange of respect.

“Robyn, Monique and Sarah have all demonstrated fantastic work ethic and dedication to their clients to achieve this outcome.”
