SUMMERLAND Farm is set to host hundreds of people at its popular Winter Food Festival, which highlights the best of local flavours and live animal encounters.
It will be held at the farm on Saturday 11 July and features live music and family entertainment.
Food Market Lane will feature local food vendors, artisan producers, market stalls and food vans, showcasing the region’s diverse flavours and fresh produce.
Families can enjoy free face painting, Orb Ball Soccer with Rainbow Roo’s and a range of optional experiences including animal encounters, paddock encounters and guided farm tours.
The farm’s Retail Hub and Adventure Park will also be open until 5pm.
The entertainment program includes performances by Maca Music School and Milo Green before the Cath Simes Band headlines the evening.

Summerland Farm operations manager – hospitality and tourism Elke Robinson said the festival was an opportunity to showcase the region while supporting local businesses and bringing the community together.
“Our Winter Food Festival is all about celebrating everything we love about the Northern Rivers; great local food, talented musicians, passionate small businesses and quality time spent with family and friends,” she said.
“We’re proud to provide a platform for local producers and entertainers while creating an event that everyone can enjoy, whether they’re visiting for a few hours or staying right through until the final song.”
The festival also highlights the farm’s long-standing commitment to providing meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability.
Since 1972, the social enterprise has employed hundreds of people with disability across its agricultural and hospitality businesses.
Tickets and further event information are available on the Summerland Farm website.
